Summer Rayne Oakes - She neither chains herself to an oil tanker or trees. Summer Rayne's concerns for environmental protection is much more pragmatic. The 23-year-old studied environmental science and works as an "Eco-Model." She models for the Ethical Fashion Shows and eco-chic lines like Linda Loudermilk and Doie Designs, supports a`wealth of environmental initiatives, and established her own consultation firm with 25 colleagues in New York. She counts a number of businesses and organizations as clients, including Liz Claiborne. Besides that she will have her own show series with Discovery and a book in 2008 on Eco-style. "For me it [working on environmental issues] is more than a job or hobby, it's a responsibility. It's my purpose in life."
