Seattle showcased an impressive [green] fashion week this past October 3-6th, 2007 at El Gaucho and the Bell Harbor Conference Center on Pier 66. Above: Adam Lowry, Eric Ryan (founders of Method Home) and Summer Rayne Oakes (Model/Activist) share a laugh on the eco-design panel.

Summer Rayne hits the AVITA Co-op Store Launch

AVITA has a luxurious contemporary line of bamboo knits and recycled cashmere creations. This past week, they opened a flagship store (AVITA Co-op) at 8213 West Third Street in the hip retail area of West Hollywood on May 1, 2007.

The store will feature the entire Avita collection with new additions to the brand - Avita Rugs organically dyed to simulate animal prints and the much-anticipated introduction of Avita’s first beauty product, an Anti Aging Serum.

Other independent and up-and-coming labels, artists and designers are also expected to showcase their products. The list include: Go Build by Greg Bergere, Mystra Oils, Mink Shoes, Sophie Simon Designs, Temps Perdu Vintage, Knot 2 Much 2 Ask Fine Jewelry by Helen Cavallo and Joely Fisher, Rea Boschi Gogolja Jewelry, Starstruck Fine Jewelry by Jill Sokolec, Moonstar Cosmetics, Daniel Jung Photography and artists Elizabeth DeVries and Barbara Rosen.
